Josh Rehaluk

Hon. Terry Jenson: — Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Today I am pleased to rise and introduce Josh Rehaluk, Mr. Speaker, who is sitting in your gallery. This past summer, Josh wrote in to my office to share his thoughts on the Saskatchewan assured income for disability, or SAID, changes that were introduced this past spring and took effect in September. Mr. Speaker, being on the SAID program himself, his viewpoint is extremely valuable for me to hear first-hand. In his message, Josh wanted to send a positive note about the SAID changes, which continue to truly make a positive impact on his life.

Mr. Speaker, we appreciate individuals like Josh who are strong advocates for the programs that they rely on. And our ministry takes the feedback from individuals like Josh and others on their experiences into consideration when we’re making improvements going forward. So at this time I’d like to ask everybody in the Assembly to please help me welcome Josh to this, his Legislative Assembly.
